Tommy Cissel (b. 1998, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is a New York–based photographer and director specializing in portraiture and editorial imagery. His work focuses on capturing emotion, presence, and color in a way that feels immediate and personal.

At the core of Tommy’s approach is connection. Guided by his belief that “I’ve never had a bad photoshoot when the subject is having a good time,” he creates an environment where people feel relaxed and fully themselves. The result is imagery that feels lived-in — as though you’ve spent time with the subject beyond the frame.
